‘Wow!’ is the usual
reaction from guests arriving at the John Fanner Barn.
The spacious heavily timbered sitting room,
with it’s log burning stove and large comfortable sofas to
curl up in create a warm and extremely stylish and comfortable
welcome. The minstrel’s gallery and master bedroom are reached
by an open timber staircase, the emphasis here is big comfortable
beds, crisp linen and sumptuous throws, a perfect place to
crash after a hard day’s relaxing!
The barn’s secluded garden has views across
the paddocks where one of the equine inmates is always to
be seen hoovering up the grass. There is plenty of space to
cook and eat outside under the pergola, heaving with Peter
Beales scented roses and lavender and with it’s views down
the poplar tree avenue to open fields beyond.
